In Jerusalem, you’ll Stroll the paths of the Old City through biblical sites and the vibrant markets, and then pedal through modern City’s diverse neighborhoods. Taste the region’s wine and delectable fare that have earned the Land of Israel praise from sommeliers and gourmets alike.

Day 1: Welcome to Israel

  • Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport .Meet your guide and transfer to Kibbutz Dalia.
  • Visit the Horn of Carmel where Elijah battled the prophets of Ba’al, to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Galilee
  • Check into the hotel and have dinner at the main dining room

Overnight: Kibbutz Dalia

Day 2: Carmel to Caesarea

  • Board your bike for a ride towards the coast and through the Amikam region – known as the Tuscany of Israel
  • Stop for lunch at the old town of Binyamina and visit the local winery
  • Continue to Caesarea, built in the first century BC by King Herod. Bike along the Aqueduct all the way to the Ancient port
  • Board the bus and head to Tiberius on the shores of the Sea of Galilee

Day 3: Nazareth to Kfar Tabor

  • Drive to Nazareth and have a short walking tour of the Old city, biblical home of Jesus. Visit the church of annunciation and the local market
  • Ride through the Beit Keshet Forest to the village of Daburia, named after the prophet Dvora that lived in the area of mount Tavor
  • Climb up Mt Tavor* believed to be the site of the transfiguration of Jesus
  • Continue by bike to Shibliand Kfar Kama. Enjoy an authentic lunch and tour the local museum
  • Transfer back to your hotel in Tiberius

Day 4: Sea of Galilee Loop

  • Enjoy a day of biking around the Sea of Galilee. Visit religious sites dating back to the birth of Christianity:
    • Visit Capernaum’s ancient synagogue where Jesus started his Galilee Ministry
  • Climb to the of Beatitudes and enjoy the view from the presumed site of the Sermon on the Mount.
  • Pass by Bethsaida the home town of the Apostils Peter, Philip and Andrew. Enjoy a St. Peter fish lunch on the shores of the lake.
  • Return to your hotel for dinner

Day 5: Mt. Gilboa and Beit Shean

  • Board your bus for a short transfer to Mt Gilboa, overlooking the Yizrael Valley, and hear the story of the battle between King Saul’s army and the Philistine army
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch at Gan HaShlosha National Park, and swim in natural spring water
  • Continue to BeitShe’an and visit the ancient city ruins known as Bet She’an National Park
  • Drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem and enjoy a view of the city from the top of the Mt. of Olives

Day 6: Jerusalem

  • Ride through Jerusalem. Follow small streets, bike lanes, short cuts and hidden alleys. Tour the Israeli Parliament, the Valley of the Cross, the pioneer neighborhood of Rehavia, the German Colony and an overlook to the Old City
  • Continue independently for a free afternoon in the Old City with its colorful markets, and local food

Approximate Cycling Distance: 20 km

Day 7: Jerusalem and a night ride

  • Tour the Old City:
    • Visit the Christian Quarter including the “Via Dolorosa”, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Room of the Last Supper
    • Tour the Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall and the Cardo
  • Enjoy a free afternoon
  • Depart for night ride in the city of Jerusalem. Pass the Prime Ministers’ home, Valley of the cross, Israeli Parliament and Supreme Court and through the market to Jaffa gate

Day 8: Judean Hills

  • Start the day with a ride in the hills surrounding Jerusalem
  • Head downhill towards Beit Shemesh
  • Continue through the Adolam Park, where we will get a glimpse of the famous caves where Bar Kochva and his supporters hid from the Romans
  • Ride to the Ella Valley, the Biblical site of David and Goliath’s battle
  • Enjoy lunch and winetasting in one of wineries in the region
  • Continue your ride to the ruins of Beit Guvrin, a system of ancient caves dating back to different empires that passed through the region
  • Join a farewell dinner

Day 9: Departure

  • Enjoy the morning in Jerusalem on your own
  • Transfer to the airport for your return flight
